Terminal Menu
In this guide we will only cover the menu items you may need to use. We strongly
recommend you to not use the other items, unless you’ve been advised by one of our
engineering representatives.
The terminal menu, can be triggered using the “M” button from the back side of the
terminal.

1. Main Menu
From this screen access the main menu items.
The “STOP” button allows you to go back anytime to the previous
menu. Select Option 3 Configuration, to start setting up the
terminal.
2. Conguration Menu

From this menu you can access the settings area related to the terminal configuration, like
(Info) system information, (Network) network configuration, or (Update) configuration /
firmware download.
Network
From here you will set up the Internet connection with the steps below.

If Static is chosen, you will be asked to enter the: IP address, Subnet Mask, Gateway &
DNS provided in Terminal Inventory Sheet (TIS) which was provided to you via email.
You will get a Please Wait screen and go back to the Menu.
You can verify the network settings you entered in the reader in the following section.
If Dhcp is chosen, you will get a Please Wait screen and go back to the Menu.
You can see what network settings the reader picked up in the following section.

4. Show Network Information
From here you can verify you entered the right Network INFO with the
steps below. You can press STOP to go back to the Menu after verifying.
*Last image will be different for your specific Valina reader
Firmware download
In the following screens provide parameters like TMS Server IP/DNS 65.216.73.214, TMS
Port 8953 and TMS TID provided in the TIS (Terminal Inventory Sheet) which was
provided to you via email by our Onboarding team: onboarding.na@3Cpayment.com.

Then the terminal will install the firmware, and reboot automatically.
5. Conguration download

After a successful firmware download, the Valina will automatically attempt a configuration
download. NOTE: This section is only required if instructed to do so by us or an engineer.
In the following screens key in the TMS TID provided in TIS (Terminal Inventory Sheet)
which was provided to you via email by our Onboarding team:

Test Transaction
Finally, send a test transaction from the Kiosk.
The Valina terminal screen will light up asking you to run your card.
After an Approval verify activity by logging into our Payments Portal.
